With a 2026 theme of "Tariffs: An Economics and Ethical Analysis," Mendoza offers the Annual Ethics Week events for students, faculty and staff, and the broader to community to explore current issues through expert analysis.

Monday, February 9
"An attorney looks at the legal history of tariffs." Presented by Professor Jimmy Gurulé, Notre Dame Law School
Tuesday, February 10
"Are tariffs an ethical way to influence the economic behavior of United States' trade partners?" Presented by Professor Kristen Collett-Schmitt, Mendoza College of Business
Wednesday, February 11
"How should the United States be engaged with the rest of the world?" Presented by Professor Robert Johnson, Economics Department, College of Arts & Letters, University of Notre Dame
Thursday, February 12
"Tariffs and Transfer Pricing: Viewing Both Sides of their Battle." Presented by Steve Wrappe, CPA, Transfer Pricing Technical Leader, Grant Thornton, National Tax Office, Washington, D.C.
