"Environmental Justice & Fukushima"

NDDCEL-affiliated students and faculty are participating in a research experience studying economic and communityrecovery and resilience after natural disasters. The team visited the Fukushima region of Japan in June 2023 and share their experiences via a podcast episode with the ThinkND team. Hear about small business owners pivoting their enterprises with innovation and perseverance - including beautiful flower fields on an agricultural site that has been family-owned for generations.
The research is a headline feature at ND Stories.
You can also listen to the podcast here and check out more information at the ND Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, which supports this project. (September 2023)
"Business in the Holy Land"
NDDCEL Faculty Director Jessica McManus Warnell and Fellow Kristen Collett-Schmitt present the Reimagining Business Excellence Program in partnership with the Notre Dame Jerusalem Global Gateway (September 2023)
